As part of Dr Ellen MacEachen‘s Return to Work and Precarious Workers study, a research project at the University of Waterloo and University of Ottawa is looking to understand worker experiences from injury through until they return to work (or don’t return to work) – specifically experiences with workers’ compensation (WSIB) claims, their process, denial of claim, and interactions with employers and coworkers.
If you have been employed on a contract or by a temporary agency, or self-employed or earning minimum wage at the time of your injury, the research project would like to hear from you. Participants will be asked to share their return to work experience in an in-depth interview lasting up to one hour. A small payment is provided for your time.
